Reading by traffic light

Evan has a traffic light night light above his bed that he is allowed to keep on until we come upstairs. Recently he has been reading himself to sleep. He finished his first complete chapter book recently. paul

Evan's Big Night

The Lancaster Science Factory had it's first anniversary celebration Thurs. night. Because of Evan's recent placing in the national K'NEXpert contest we were invited as special guests to the celebration. Evidently because of some local connections, the science factory for the next three months will be hosting the national K'NEX traveling exhibit! The president of K'nex was on hand to present Evan with a framed award and prize. It was an exciting and fun evening evening and a very impressive exhibit. Solitair chess

Chess has eclipsed knex (for now). This morning I came downstairs and Evan was playing against himself. Elizabeth is quite the artist and enjoys drawing people, flowers, and her version of letters. She loves to draw letters and then ask me what they spell.

Tammy's getting sick. Elizabeth is sick, Evan's getting over being sick, and I had it several weeks ago.
We bought new cell phones on ebay and stuck with our old at&t plan instead of going with a new plan and "free" phones.
