Mountain Bike Weekend

I just got back from our annual mountain bike weekend in the western mountains of Virginia. Five of us went this year. One of the guys brought two small canoes which was a first. We had great weather, great trails, great food, and nobody got hurt! I don't have many pictures because I took our old camera and it does not work too well.

Race For Education

Because of the rain, the Kraybill Mennonite Race for Education was on Monday. Evan has been training for a month to reach his goal of 16 laps/4 miles. Almost everyday after school he has been running 30 minutes. When the Race for Education started Evan was the last out of the shoot. But he set a great, consistent pace and not only reached his goal of 16 laps but did 19 laps! 4 3/4 miles!!!!! We're so very proud of him. GO EVAN!

Grandpa and Elizabeth stopped by to cheer Evan on. Paul ran almost the whole thing with him. Tammy Deejayed the event playing some tunes and reading scripture to encourage and motivate the students.

Camera

Just checked our records and our camera almost made it four years. I bought it for Tammy Christmas 2005 when Elizabeth was almost 10 months old.

Rainy Saturday

Elizabeth often crawls in bed with Evan. We put her back in her bed when we go upstairs to bed.

Today was a rainy day so we went rollerskating at Overlook with Evan's friend and his parents.

We also bought a new point and shoot camera. Our old one finally bit the dust. We replaced it with the same type just the newer version.
